What we do
The Institute engages in training, research, innovation and business development in the following areas:
African Cultures and Traditions, Governance and Justice Systems;
African Performing Arts and Entertainment;
African indigenous knowledge, Science, Technologies and Digital Transformation;
African Agriculture, Medicine and Spirituality;
African Business and Economics; and
African Education Systems, Sports, History and Languages.
The Institute is also involved collection, processing, preservation and disseminate of African/traditional knowledge and technologies.

Where we work
Our headquarters are in Kampala Uganda. We have satellite centres/campuses across Africa.
The strategic partnerships and collaborations in training and capacity building, research, innovation, and business development enable us to implement projects and programmes in African culture, African Science
and African Technologies.

Impact
Everything we do is aimed at harnessing African culture, African science, and African technologies for socio-economic development of
Africa.
We work with communities, governments, non-governmental organisations, the public and private sectors, civil society, and development
partners to address initiatives aimed at creating an Africa that is healthy, united, economically empowered and culturally aware.
