We are a pan-African institution that focuses on the development, promotion, preservation and dissemination of African cultures, African science and African technologies for socioeconomic development.

The Institute is also involved collection, processing, preservation and disseminate of African/traditional knowledge and technologies.
Our headquarters are in Kampala Uganda. We have satellite centres/campuses across Africa.
The strategic partnerships and collaborations in training and capacity building, research, innovation, and business development enable us to implement projects and programmes in African culture, African Scienceand African Technologies.
Everything we do is aimed at harnessing African culture, African science, and African technologies for socio-economic development ofAfrica.
We work with communities, governments, non-governmental organisations, the public and private sectors, civil society, and developmentpartners to address initiatives aimed at creating an Africa that is healthy, united, economically empowered and culturally aware.
We rely on indigenous knowledge and technologies, and scientific and social knowledge to implement projects and programs.
